New Age and Occult activity is on the rise in the world, a part of the growing wickedness and in the end of days. The Bible calls witchcraft and the like an abomination. Astrology, psychic readings, wicca, healing crystals, ouija and more are parts of this dangerous superstition that has infected our popular culture and is moving us toward the one world religion described in Revelation 17.
First let's get somethings straight:

First let's get somethings straight:
- I know there are plenty of Christians out there pretending to be former Occultists. It is true that there are some phonies out there who have pretended to have had dramatic Christian testimonies and then been discredited. Sadly, people seem to think of these one's when they hear similar stories and the damage is done. But if we believe that there is an individual called the devil then it is understandable why he would want this situation and even raise such individuals up to cause chaos. He doesn't want the real stories to be taken seriousely so he makes sure he puts some high profile false stories up, which are later publically discredited. Some people just use these fakes as an excuse to explain away every testimony they hear because they are uncomfortable with the idea that the Bible may be true. Yes, there are liars but there are also good, hones people who tell the whole truth. And just like in the law (idealy) we must assume that they are telling the truth until we can prove them wrong.
- I believe most occult phonomena out there are hoaxes. Stuff like horoscopes, healing crystals, etc... That's all in the heads of the practioners. However, a small minority is genuine and demonic in nature. Either way, the devil uses it to lead people away from God, so it is detestable.
- I am not overreacting by calling "Harry Potter" and other children's entertainment evil. They have lead many unsuspecting people to the Occult, and promote many evil and ungodly ideas. One of the best ways to get people to accept evil is to disguise it as something harmless.
- I do not see every bit of children's entertainment as a tool of the devil. I will only criticize something if it promotes an idea or many ideas that the Bible denounces. I will not, for example, say that puppets are Satanic because there is no Biblical suppert for that.
- Humans can't cast magic (or magick) spells. The devil has tricked many people into thinking that they can control such things, when it's really him and his demons who are doing the supernatural acts.
- I am not being presumptious at all. I will not accuse someone/thing of promoting and/or practicing occult activity unless I can objectivly prove it.
- I will not give any credibility to this nonsense because a number of "accredited intellectuals" believe in it. There is a bias in modern education that is against God. Besides, just because someone has a degree doesn't mean their right. The majority of scientists used to believe in spontainious generation. God is the author of truth, not man. It is also bad logic to try to legitimize something crazy by appealing to authority (http://www.nizkor.org/features/fallacies/appeal-to-authority.html).
- Young people take this New Age nonsense seriously is because they think it's "cool" to rebel against traditional Christianity. They are foolish to do so, for they are playing right into satan's hands (http://bibletools.org/index.cfm/fuseaction/Topical.show/RTD/CGG/ID/508).
- I know a few people will say that my Christians who protest the occult and/or are ex-occultists are just making things up, but as with the phoney former occultists, this is only in the minority and is really just a convient way for new age yuppies and others to explain away any legitimate attack.
