I visited Protest Warrior the other day, to find "Bill" arguing that New Age healing should be taught in public schools. His justification is that because so many "accredited intellectuals" believe it, it must be credible. This is the most blatent example of the logical fallacy of arguing from authority I have ever heard of. Just because some so-called "intellectuals" believe something, it must be true. The funny thing is that "Bill" always explains away evidence for Christianity, claiming "I'll believe it when I see it," but will believe BM like this because his friends tell him to, or some elitist types tell him to. It's so typical, someone calls me "irrational" for believing the Bible, then they turn around around and tell me that they believe in some New Age malarky like "healing crystals," or astrology. I believe the Bible because there's evidence that it's God's word, not because some elitist moonbat told me to.
And they call me a hypocrite.
