Why is it that people use apostrophies to shorten words that are just fine at their normal length? That just irks me. Say the whole word, or don't say it at all! I espically hate the word 'tude. The only people who say that are those lousy generation Xers who try to look "cool" by shortning their words. Well it isn't, it's irritating and lazy. I wish that stupid expression died with generation X, but now we have a whole new group of young dimwits who reach for the outdated expressions of an older generation when they're not satisfied with there own attempts to mutilate the english language. Remember, if you think using apostrophies to shorten words that are fine the way they are makes you hip, just picture being beaten over the head with the world's thickest dictionary. It's attitude jerks, attitude!
