There's an argument that goes that if God created man, he should be held responsible for man's actions in Eden.
God gave man free will so he could obtain wisdom himself. God didn’t want a race of robots who did not have a free will. God had to allow the possibility of evil for us to have a true choice of whether to worship God or not. If we never had to suffer and experience evil, would we truly know how wonderful heaven is? God did not create evil, but He allowed it. If He hadn’t allowed evil, we would be worshipping Him out of obligation, not by a choice of our own free will.
To quote Cooper Abrams "The good parent would want the best for their child and would do everything they could to help the child live a good life and avoid doing wrong. But if the child chose to disobey would the parent be responsible? Clearly, you could not blame the parent if they had done all they could to help the child.....nor can you blame God for Adam's disobedience in sinning and beginning sin into the world."
