Call me old fashioned, but I'm afraid of hell. I should be, it's a horrible place. The Bible describes hell as a place of eternal torment where God pours out His just wrath on those who have broken His Laws. Jesus spoke more often about hell than Heaven because he wanted to warn people about the consequences of not following him. It reminds me of this driver's education video I saw where they showed pictures of people after they were in car accidents. Yes, it was a scare tactic, but it was legit nonetheless.
Now the secular humanist liberal, who is afradi to face this reality, will retreat to elitism by mocking Christianity and sincere Christians. They arrogantly joke about hell, not knowing the reality.
Incidently, this mockery is reserved for Christianity, as any jab against any other belief will land you a date with the tolerance nazis. This is all part of the master plan to create a one world, new age religion to replace Biblical Christianity, but that's another story.
Bottom line: Jesus took hell seriously, so should you.
